2025 Okinawa Spring Training Tour Recap and Photo Log

Next Okinawa Spring Training Tour: Feb/March 2026

February 20, 2025

We’re in beautiful Okinawa for spring training! As always, our beloved Fuji is leading the way.

After arriving on Sunday and Monday, we got our first look at a KBO camp with the Hanwha Eagles in the early morning. We then visited the Okinawa Army Hospital Haebal Bunker and former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters.

We’ve spent the next few days going through NPB camps including the Nippon-Ham Fighters at Tapic Stadium Nago, the Yakult Swallows at ANA Ballpark Urasoe, and the Yomiuri Giants at Okinawa Cellular Stadium!

We’ve also been around great nearby attractions like Shikuwasa Park, Hacksaw Ridge, and Okinawa World. We’re so stoked that baseball is back!

Our Okinawa tour continues with the Chunichi Dragons camp in Chatan! We saw the Dragons take on the Lotte Marines and the Hanshin Tigers over the weekend.

The Dragons lost both games but there were many cool moments to witness including Jason Vosler’s first home run in Japan off all-star Hiroto Saiki and reigning CL ERA champion Hiroto Takahashi pitching two innings.

We’ll watch one more Dragons game today and then end our tour with the Hiroshima Carp’s camp in Moromizato tomorrow!

That does it for our 2025 Okinawa tour!

After getting a few Chunichi Dragons spring training games in on Sunday and Monday, we made our way to Koza Shinkin Stadium on Tuesday to watch the Hiroshima Carp’s camp. We then got beautiful scenic views at Cape Manzamo to wrap up our great tour! Just as our trip ends, NPB teams are all getting ready to return to their home cities for the real preseason to begin.

Thanks Okinawa, we’ll be back next year!
