Extra Innings Travel Hall of Fame

The Story Behind the Hall of Fame

The JapanBall Hall of Fame was established in 2005 when tour member Connie Van Putten posed a unique question: “Could you help me see the rest of the stadiums after the main tour?” At the time, no one had ever made such a request, but it inspired us to create something special. We decided that anyone who accomplished the feat of visiting all 12 NPB stadiums deserved a place of honor—thus, the JapanBall Hall of Fame was born.

As JapanBall expanded and grew into Extra Innings Travel, offering baseball tours around the world, we established a new Hall of Fame to recognize our most dedicated travelers. These exclusive honors continue to celebrate those who embrace the adventure and culture of each journey.

Hall of Fame inductees must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Participate in at least one of our tours in three different countries
  • Participate in our Japan “Full Tour”, attending one game in all 12 of the NPB ballparks
  • Demonstrate a sustained, exemplary dedication and service to the Extra Innings Travel community
