Join JapanBall for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Cooperstown in July 2025 to witness Ichiro Suzuki’s Hall of Fame induction! In partnership with Sports Travel and Tours (STAT), the official tour provider of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown, this exclusive package offers VIP reserved seats at the induction ceremony, access to special events, and unique opportunities to meet baseball figures.

Ichiro will be inducted alongside fellow 2025 enshrinees Dave Parker, Dick Allen, and perhaps CC Sabathia, Billy Wagner, and more greats! You will be among the first fans to visit the national Baseball Hall of Fame’s brand-new “Yakyu” exhibit on Japanese baseball, set to open in July 2025.

Experience this incredible weekend with fellow JapanBallers and Japanese fans, celebrating Ichiro’s legacy and engaging in a cultural exchange centered around baseball.

Please note that we recommend STAT’s Albany Home Run package for Ichiro’s Hall of Fame induction weekend, as it will include JapanBall staff, past JapanBall tour guests, special events just for JapanBallers, and hopefully some fans from Japan too!

While the Albany Home Run package is ideal for fostering community, you are welcome to choose any package that suits your preferences. For example, you might want to choose the Induction Plus package, which features Shohei Ohtani and the World-Series-champion Los Angeles Dodgers playing against the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, a tour of Yankee Stadium, a game between the Tampa Bay Rays and the New York Yankees, and a stay in New York City’s Times Square!

Baseball was great. Companions were great. Denali Trip was great. Riverboat cruise was a little too structured and touristy for my taste, the only part I’d give 4 stars. I stayed at the Springhill Suites for the nights on my own, which I preferred to the Bridgewater. If doing again I hope we can do the Springhill hotel instead but I’m guessing booking is tight. Food was easy to get and pretty good. On my own did the Museum of the North at UAF. If I had the choice to do that or the riverboat cruise I would definitely do UAF, which also has a gardens and a live animal research center (caribou, etc.). If enough leaders were available offering both the same day would be fun, All in all definitely a 5-star experience.

Loved the trip. It was just the right number of people on the Washington tour and I got to know and interact with them all. Good transportation, good hotels, and the timing was well done for each leg of the trip. Walla Walla could have used a hotel closer to something (anything!), but the organizer was flexible and provided some transportation to downtown to allow travelers to explore the town. All in all, a well-planned and well executed adventure all around. Will definitely consider future tours of this nature.

Truly a bucket list trip. A couple of Alaskan adventures, great hospitality, and a midnight baseball game played without lights. What more could you ask for? Oh, I guess you could ask for an Air Force stadium flyover. We had that, too. Thanks Shane and Anna for a truly fun trip.

✔ Baseball Bucket List – The Midnight Sun Game ✔ National Park – Denali National Park Thank you Shane Barclay (JapanBall) and Anna DiTommaso (Baseball Bucket List) for the trip of a lifetime in Alaska. The JapanBall trips always include a cultural aspect, sightseeing, and food with the baseball games. What did my wife and I experience in the 49th State? (1) The best bbq in Alaska at Big Daddy’s BBQ in Fairbanks, (Note: We had the best bbq in the Carribean on the JapanBall Dominican Republic trip in 2021) (2) All-day tour of Denali National Park. Did not see Mt. Denali due to cloud cover. but saw various wildlife like moose, elk, dall sheep, and ptarmigan, (3) Discovery Boat Cruise on the Chema River – saw dog mushing demonstration, walking tour of Athabascan Village (4) The Alaska Goldpanners vs Michigan Monarchs at historic Growden Park, Wow, what an experience! (5) Enjoyed the camaraderie with the JapanBall family. We can’t wait for our next JapanBall trip! ⚾⚾⚾

This was a fantastic trip. Everything was well organized and communicated. The alternative activities were fun and informative. There was enough downtown to enjoy the city of Fairbanks. The trip was also easy to book and pay for through JapanBall and WeTravel. The Midnight Sun baseball game was the best part of the trip and our seats were great.
