We recommend STAT’s Albany Home Run package for Buster Posey’s Hall of Fame induction weekend, as it will include Extra Innings staff (our owner, Shane Barclay, grew up a San Francisco Giants fan so will certainly be attending), past tour guests, and special events just for the group! While the Albany Home Run package is ideal for fostering community, you are welcome to choose any package that suits your preferences.

Note: We are assuming that Buster Posey will be part of the 2027 class of inductees, but this will not be official until December 2026. Anyone who makes their deposit to hold their spot before the official announcement will have the choice of a refund or a future trip credit if Buster is not inducted.

Baseball was great. Companions were great. Denali Trip was great. Food was easy to get and pretty good. On my own did the Museum of the North at UAF. If I had the choice to do that or the riverboat cruise I would definitely do UAF, which also has a gardens and a live animal research center (caribou, etc.). If enough leaders were available offering both the same day would be fun, All in all definitely a 5-star experience.

Loved the trip. It was just the right number of people on the Washington tour and I got to know and interact with them all. Good transportation, good hotels, and the timing was well done for each leg of the trip. Walla Walla could have used a hotel closer to something (anything!), but the organizer was flexible and provided some transportation to downtown to allow travelers to explore the town. All in all, a well-planned and well executed adventure all around. Will definitely consider future tours of this nature.

Truly a bucket list trip. A couple of Alaskan adventures, great hospitality, and a midnight baseball game played without lights. What more could you ask for? Oh, I guess you could ask for an Air Force stadium flyover. We had that, too. Thanks Shane and Anna for a truly fun trip.

✔ Baseball Bucket List – The Midnight Sun Game ✔ National Park – Denali National Park Thank you Shane and Anna for the trip of a lifetime in Alaska. The JapanBall trips always include a cultural aspect, sightseeing, and food with the baseball games. What did my wife and I experience in the 49th State? (1) The best bbq in Alaska at Big Daddy’s BBQ in Fairbanks (2) All-day tour of Denali National Park. (3) Discovery Boat Cruise on the Chema River (4) The Alaska Goldpanners vs Michigan Monarchs at historic Growden Park, Wow, what an experience! (5) Enjoyed the camaraderie with the JapanBall family.
