Tokyo NPB Tour

Tokyo, Japan

May 25-31, 2026

A Baseball Adventure in the World’s Greatest City

Tokyo is the best city in the world, per an unofficial poll of past Extra Innings Travel guests and an official declaration by Condé Nast.

So, we figure we ought to offer you the opportunity to pass on the hassle of packing, unpacking, and traveling between cities and let one of the metropolitan wonders of the world be your base for a week. It will be an urban baseball adventure like no other in the world!

On your tour you will have the opportunity to experience the best of Tokyo and the surrounding area, as well as see five NPB games in five stadiums! You will also get to experience the amazing Japanese Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, and see a sumo wrestling lunch show, one of our guests’ absolute favorites!

We recommend this tour for two types of travelers:

  1. Those who want less travel time and more free time to explore.
  2. Those who have physical limitations that would make it difficult to change locations via train and plane with their luggage multiple times.

For an idea on what to expect, check out our 2025 Tour Recap & 2024 Tour Recap.

Please be warned that due to our reliance on public transportation and the inherent “walkability” of Japan’s cities, tour guests do a lot of walking on our Japan tours. Many guests average about 12,000 steps per day on their step trackers.

You can combine this tour with the last four days of NPB Tour Segment 1 (additional hotel night and train ticket required to connect the two tours) and/or and on the back end with our South Korea Tour.

Although less taxing than our other Japan tours that visit multiple cities, our Tokyo Tour may still be physically demanding for some guests. Given our reliance on public transportation and Japan’s naturally walkable cities, guests should expect a lot of walking, including going up and down stairs at train stations. Many guests average around 12,000 steps per day on their trackers.
