NPB Tour: Segment 1

Northern (Sapporo & Sendai) & Central (Yokohama, Nagoya, Osaka) Japan

May 13-23, 2026

A Japan Urban Deep Dive

Experience:

  • Six NPB games at six different stadiums, including some of Japan’s best and most historic ballparks.
  • An exceptional variety of sights and experiences around Japan, including stays in five cities.
  • The Ichiro Suzuki pilgrimage, to learn about Ichiro before the bigs.
  • Activities such as the sumo wrestling dinner show – a guest favorite, as well as the Koshien Museum.

Baseball highlights include games at Yokohama Stadium, home of the Tokyo Olympics and Japan’s oldest ballpark, Koshien Stadium (built in 1924 and home of the Hanshin Tigers).

We will also make a trip to wondrous Sapporo see NPB’s sleekest and newest ballpark, ES CON Field Hokkaido, which rivals any of North America’s best stadiums, before finishing up in Osaka.

For an idea on what to expect, check out the 2025 Tour Recap & 2024 Tour Recap.

This tour can be combined with Segment 2 to make it the Full Tour (receive a discount off the combined price of the two segments), or with the Tokyo Tour (additional hotel night and train ticket required to connect the two tours).

This tour may be very physically demanding for some guests. Due to our reliance on public transportation and the inherent “walkability” of Japan’s cities, many guests average about 12,000 steps per day on their step trackers. We will change hotels several times via long and/or early-morning train rides. All guests must be able to carry/roll their own luggage during train transfers for about 1/3 mile (including up and down flights of stairs), and also lift their bags to the overhead space on trains. If you expect to have any difficulties, we recommend that you consider the Tokyo NPB Tour.
